Thanks for your work. Is it possible to add an Option to keep the Chat alive in background? The most time watching on chromecast and I cant close the App or lock the screen because it disconnects the Chat after some time

Bans Twitch custom clients? Since a few days I often can not load streams "Stream has ended". In the Webbrowser everything works fine... :/

Edit: Also in the Playstore Version of Twitch everything works fine

Same exact issue. Had to go back to the official version. I'm wondering if has something to do with with a recent change Twitch made with how they recognize adblocking/scripts.
I don't know enough about it though.

The thing is it just started happening. Tuesday or Wednesday i was using this awesome application with no problem at all. The 1st time I think I noticed it was sometime on Thursday.

To those having issues with streams not loading, I found a fix.

Go into settings-mod settings-adblock-sure stream adblock and switch to 'fake embedded player'
That fixed it for me.

This worked for me too thanks!

This is a great mod, and overall it works very well. I'm afraid even with selecting the "fake embedded player" option, it doesn't stop ads manually run by the streamer. It stops the pre-rolls though. Which is still very nice. Great work on this mod, just hope it gets updated.

If you aren't rooted, try personalDNSfilter or try the private dns option(use adguard dns) built in to the OS, which is in either android 8+ or android 10+

Hi and thank you for the tip. I keep my old Nexus 7 2013 tablet (it's still a great tablet) for media consumption, mainly twitch, but I currently only have 7.0 Nougat on it. I should probably flash a newer custom rom on here I suppose. I am rooted though, so maybe I can find some kind of dns filter that will work.
